This past year was nothing short of extraordinary across our entire Quantum community:
- 11 Local Medals: Across our four competing crews, our team members showed remarkable grit and determination, sweeping local regattas and bringing home 11 medals.
- Oddball Fall Classic Grand Finale: Just last Saturday at the 2026 Oddball Fall Classic, our Vancouver teams capped off the season in style, securing 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal to wrap up our local racing calendar on a high note!
- World Stage Triumph: Beyond local waters, two of our student athletes, Demi and Haim, alongside Palmer sponsor teacher, represented us at the 15th IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Hualien, Taiwan, winning World Champion titles in their respective categories!
Five Years of Growth & Community Impact
What started five years ago as a modest group of barely 20 students has now blossomed into a vibrant, multi-generational community of over 90 paddlers ranging from ages 13 to 70 across three core teams.
In an era dominated by screens, social media, and digital distractions, dragon boating offers a vital real-world platform. It delivers essential life skills—leadership, resilience, discipline, and teamwork—into everyday life. As we step into our 5th year, our mission remains focused on bringing families together and creating life-changing impact for our youth, adults, parents, and grandparents alike.
